Privacy Policy
Effective July 14, 2026
The short version
We collect the information you type into our forms, we use it to answer you and to run the fridge program, and we do not sell it to anyone. This site sets no cookies and runs no advertising trackers.
Who we are
Stocko places and operates smart snack fridges in offices, apartment communities, and other buildings around San Mateo, Burlingame, and Foster City, California. For anything in this policy, write to hello@trystocko.com.
What we collect
Forms on this site: your name, email address, building or company name, and whatever you write in a message. We collect this only when you submit a form.
Purchases at a fridge: payments are processed by third-party payment processors. We receive transaction records such as the item, price, time, and machine, but we never receive or store your full card number.
Fridge telemetry: our machines report stock levels, temperature, and fault codes. Telemetry is about the machine, not about people. Our fridges do not use facial recognition.
What we do with it
We use contact information to reply to you and to set up and run fridge placements. We use aggregate sales data to decide what to stock. We may send operational email about a fridge you host; we do not send marketing blasts.
What we share
Service providers who help us operate, such as payment processing and email, receive only what they need to do their job. We disclose information if the law requires it. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for cross-context behavioral advertising.
Cookies and analytics
This site sets no cookies and uses no third-party analytics or advertising scripts. If that ever changes, this policy will change first.
Retention
We keep form submissions for as long as we are talking to you or hosting a fridge with you, plus a reasonable wind-down period. Transaction records are kept as required for accounting.
Your choices
Email hello@trystocko.com to ask what we hold about you, to correct it, or to have it deleted. California residents may also exercise their rights under the CCPA the same way; we honor them without discrimination.
Children
This website is for building decision-makers and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect information from them.
Changes
If we change this policy, we update the effective date at the top. Material changes to how we treat existing data will be flagged to the buildings we work with directly.
